Story: As a young child I walked across my country with my grandmother, mother and siblings collecting bush tucker in the bottom of my dress and an old milk tin with a wire for a handle. I used to swing the milk tin as I laughed and ran to collect the bush tucker. The naipans are my favourite. They will be ripe in February. Now I have a traditional Dilly Bag made out of plant fibres to collect my bush tucker. This image represents the different containers I have used to collect bush tucker. The Dillybag is a traditional Aboriginal bag woven from plant fibres. Women use it for collection and transportation of bush tucker.
